Our Panel PCs consist of a display unit and a separate computing unit with a small form factor, which is simply plugged into the back of the display. The devices use the innovative CDS connection technology (Convertible Display Systems). This design offers many benefits: You can choose the display that best suits your application. Our touch screen displays are frontally protected against splash water and dust with an IP65 rating. The computing unit can be expanded according to your requirements or even replaced as performance requirements increase, without the need for a new display.

Our Panel PC hardware is extremely robust and are built to withstand shocks and vibrations while also being approved for a temperature range from -25 to 70°C. A fast reboot system ensures that critical applications are available again within 0.2 seconds in the event of failures. Thus, the systems are ideally suited for 24-hour continuous use in industrial plants and factories.

Depending on the application and purpose, Panel PCs can have very different requirements. Thomas-Krenn offers a variety of pre-configured systems. You can easily customize the amount of RAM and SSDs to your needs. In addition, you can choose from 8'', 15'' and 17'' touchscreen monitors. Thus, the systems are suitable for use in standard cabinets as well as in consoles and switchboards.
