The conditions in production have always demanded a lot from the IT used in industry. However, in the age of Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), industrial servers and industrial PCs need to be able to do even more and be more versatile than ever before.

Industrial servers are required for machine and robot control, they are used to visualize production data or to monitor production processes. The requirements are highly individual. The industry needs very compact systems as well as large and powerful 19-inch rackmount servers or panel PCs. Depending on the industry and location, the degree of protection against dust and moisture also varies - in some cases, certification according to PI protection types is required, in others you can do without it and save costs. Mini servers from the LES series

The mini servers from our LES series (Low Energy Systems) are used where compact dimensions, robustness and low power consumption are required and where there are moderate demands on computing power and storage capacity. The variety of LES models makes it possible to cover different requirements in terms of connectivity, performance and protection against environmental influences. There are LES models with up to ten network interfaces, up to 3.4 terabytes of storage capacity and various energy-saving CPUs up to Intel Core i7. All our mini servers are passively cooled and dust-protected. Some models are also water-protected and certified according to IP protection classes.

If you need more space for control and measurement cards or more computing power, you usually opt for a 19-inch rack system. Our industrial rack servers in 19-inch format are characterized by a short installation depth to make effective use of the limited space and fit into all types of racks. They are usually equipped with dust protection and in some cases also with vibration protection. Like all Thomas-Krenn systems, they are flexibly configurable and use durable server components. Industrial rack servers with two height units are all-round systems with a very good price-performance ratio. 4U systems, on the other hand, offer plenty of space for extensions and storage media.

Panel PCs are used in a similar environment to industrial servers, but have display units. They are used for system control and visualization of production data and are usually mounted in control panels or control desks. Our panel PCs are equipped with the "Convertible Display System" and are therefore particularly flexible. They consist of a touchscreen display panel with a computer unit attached to the rear. This means that the PC hardware is decoupled from the display and is easy to upgrade or replace. On the front, our panel PCs are dust and water-protected to IP65, while the computer unit is shock and vibration-protected.
