Migrate virtual machines, centrally manage virtualization environments and more

Proxmox-optimized systems are suitable for virtualization with free software. With the open source platform, you can manage your systems via a convenient interface and access extensive features. For instance, Proxmox VE (PVE) offers a unified interface for two virtualization technologies: the free Hypervisor KVM and Linux Containers (LXC) – allowing you to easily adapt the system to your needs.

The Debian-based software is regularly updated to include new developments. Virtual machines can be migrated live between two Proxmox servers. Complex network configurations, such as bonding or aggregation, are also possible. You can even use Proxmox VE to create backups of your virtual machines to keep your data safe.

Further, Proxmox VE includes a clustering feature based on proven Linux HA technologies. You can therefore easily manage the highly available cluster via the HA Manager, which is pre-installed with Proxmox VE. This means that it no longer needs to be configured.

Proxmox-optimized systems for smooth operation

Extensive tests ensure the full functionality of our Proxmox-optimized systems. Proxmox specifies relatively low hardware requirements for the software. However, when selecting a suitable server, you should assume that production systems require more powerful hardware. As with any virtualization solution, a high-performance CPU and a large, powerful RAM are generally recommended for optimum performance.

For this reason, our Proxmox-optimized systems meet the minimum requirements of the open source solution, but are designed to be much more powerful so that they can exploit the full potential of Proxmox VE.

The right subscription for your requirements
