Industrial rack servers

Industrial rack servers are used for process automation, controlling systems and robots or to visualize production data and processes. With Edge Computing and digitization, the field of possible applications for such systems only continues to expand.

The requirements for industrial rack servers are therefore high and diverse. Depending on the application, the emphasis can be on reliability, protection against environmental influences, performance or having a variety of interfaces.

All Thomas-Krenn industrial rack servers come standard with a robust housing that is protected against dust. Moreover, we also offer servers with IP certifications – including sealed front panels and splash water protection.

In production environments, space is at a premium – meaning that industrial systems need to be as small as possible and flexible in where they can be installed. This is why we exclusively offer our industrial rack servers (1U to 4U) with a short installation depth of up to about 450 mm. This provides more space for larger storage quantities or more add-on cards. Our servers are equipped with proven, long-term available mainboards from Supermicro or ASUS. Some models also have vibration protection for hard drives or access protection in the form of lockable front panels.
