Protection against electrostatic discharge

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause major damage to sensitive server components like CMOS, MOS or computer chips. To avoid such damage, ESD accessories are an absolute must when handling server components. 

Our online shop offers a wide variety of helpful ESD accessories that protect your server from electrostatic discharge damage. One such accessory is a wristband with a grounding cable. The cable is connected with the wristband and then connected to the neutral (ground) conductor in the power outlet.

An elastic ESD wrist band is also part of our range of ESD accessories. Our anti-static grounding and repair kits helps prevent ESD damage. These consist of a wristband, an alligator clip and a grounding mat. The clip can be attached to a grounded server rack. One can also use the ground conductor in a wall socket as an alternative. The server is placed on the grounding mat to provide additional protection from electrostatic discharge.
