Secure – from the home office to the data center

With its rich feature set, OPNsense is capable of securing small networks, such as home offices, doctors' offices or tax offices, in addition to medium and large environments with up to several hundred users. The functions range from the well-known filtering options of a stateful firewall and virtual private networks (VPNs) for the integration of external users or sites to enterprise features such as captive portals for restricted WLANs, highly available firewall clusters or multi-WAN uplinks. Numerous plugins also allow the functionality of the firewall to be modularly expanded.

Easy to install, highly secure

OPNsense can be installed quickly and easily in just a few steps. Configuration is performed via the intuitive web interface of the open source firewall. For example, firewall rules can be created with just a few mouse clicks. All other functions, such as the configuration of OpenVPN or ipsec VPNs, are set up directly in the web interface. This means there's no need to learn any special command line commands. Security updates are also uploaded directly via the web interface – keeping the firewall up-to-date.

As an OPNsense partner, we actively support the continuous development of the open source firewall. Major updates, and therefore new features, are released in January and July as part of the six-month release cycle.
