Notes on webinar participation and FAQs

We firmly believe in the open source concept and therefore in the free availability of knowledge. That is why we offer most of our webinars free of charge.

In specially marked intensive webinars, individual topics are dealt with in greater depth. Due to the higher cost of these deep dives, we charge a small participation fee. The exact amount is stated on the registration page of the respective intensive webinar.
To do this, follow the link in the respective invitation. You will find our dates at the top of the page or you can have them sent to you conveniently by e-mail - subscribe to our newsletter now. The data provided will not be passed on to third parties.
In our intensive webinars, our experts deepen your knowledge on a specific subject area. You will receive exclusive first-hand information and, depending on the event, can also gain initial practical experience. Unlike our regular webinars, places for these focused deep dives are limited. We therefore charge a one-off registration fee for participation. You can find the exact amount on the registration page of the respective event.

You can easily check whether it is possible to participate in a webinar with your system in the general system requirements.

When participating via Mozilla Firefox, technical problems may occasionally occur. If in doubt, please use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Following your registration, you will receive an automatic e-mail with your access data. If you do not receive the e-mail immediately, please check your junk mail folder.
Get started: Shortly before the specified start time, please click on your personalized access link (we recommend doing this several minutes before the start if you are participating in one of our webinars for the first time). To join the webinar, you will need to download and install the "GoToWebinar Launcher.exe". The window will open automatically when you click on the participation link in the e-mail.
After starting the webinar, a control panel will appear on the right-hand side of the screen. There you will also find the chat window, which you can use to ask the speaker questions. These will be answered either during or at the end of the webinar.
You have the option of choosing between "Microphone + loudspeaker" and "Telephone". We recommend dialing in by telephone. You will find the setting option in your control panel under "Audio". As soon as you have clicked on "Use telephone", it will show you the telephone number, the access code and the corresponding audio PIN. Due to the high number of participants in our webinars, all listeners are muted, i.e. you cannot communicate with us via your microphone or telephone. You are welcome to ask us your questions via the chat function.
After the webinar, a window will automatically open with a feedback request. So that we can constantly improve, we ask you for constructive criticism and/or suggestions for topics. Our webinar team will also be happy to receive your feedback at any time by e-mail to webcast@thomas-krenn.com.
