Veeam offers the license for its enterprise-level data platform in different variants.


The Foundation package includes only the Hybrid Backup and Recovery service area. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Cloud: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
  • Virtual: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Red Hat
  • Physical: Windows, Linux, macOS, Unix
  • NAS backup
  • Snapshots, replication and CDP
  • Veeam DataLabs and Data Integration API



With the Advanced package, you also have access to several useful tools in the area of monitoring and analytics. These include:

  • Real-time monitoring and notifications
  • Comprehensive reporting
  • Helpful dashboards
  • Capacity planning and chargeback

The Essential package has the same content as Advanced, but is limited to a maximum of 50 workloads.

The Premium package adds recovery orchestration, which provides straightforward and comprehensive data recovery. Included here are:

· 1-click mass recovery

· DR failover orchestration

· Dynamic documentation

· Recovery to the cloud
