Select your operating system

Choose between the host operating system Windows Server 2022 and Azure Stack HCI. Windows Server 2022 and Azure Stack HCI differ in the licensing model, but also in terms of supported features. Scope of delivery

  • 2x Intel Xeon Silver 4509Y CPUs (2.60 GHz, 8 cores) (expandable to up to 2x 60 CPU cores)
  • 128 GB (8x 16 GB) ECC Reg DDR5 4800 RAM (expandable to up to 4 TB of RAM)
  • 1x 240 GB M.2 NVMe SSD as boot device
  • 2x 10 GbE RJ45 NICs for MGMT network
  • 2x 10 GbE RJ45 NICs for VM network

Minimum requirement:

Azure Stack HCI requires a minimum number of drives:

  • Full flash: min. 4x NVMe/SSDs
  • Hybrid: min. 2x NVMe/SSDs & 4x HDDs
  • 3-tier: min. 2x NVMe, 4x SSDs, 4x HDDs

 

If too few drives are selected, technical functionality is not guaranteed.
