About our UV printer

The Mimaki UJF-7151plus UV printer represents the latest generation of direct printing technology, and its comprehensive features make it ideal for high-quality on-demand printing. The flatbed LED UV printer has 6 staggered print heads and is therefore very precise regarding ink positioning with up to 1,200 dpi. It can be used to print on a wide variety of materials with a thickness of up to 15.3 cm and an area of up to 71 x 51 cm. Using innovative MAPS4 and MFD1 technologies, the UJF-7151plus achieves outstanding print quality on all suitable surfaces – and at unprecedented speeds!

Our UV printing process

Printing is carried out using the PYROSIL® process. This form of silicatization takes advantage of flame pyrolytic deposition of silicon dioxide, which allows for scalable and cost-effective printing. In this process, the object to be printed is passed through a gas flame mixed with the silicon-based substance PYROSIL®. The result is a thin (5-100 nm) layer of amorphous silica that has high density and surface adhesion. Since the flame is only briefly present, the temperature on the surface increases only slightly. This gentle process is therefore also suitable for heat-sensitive materials, such as various plastics.
