In June 2026, Supermicro published security advisories for the BMC-firmware of its mainboards. This security vulnerability requires a firmware update.

CVE-2026-3820 7.2 (high) Command-Injection (The security vulnerability allows an attacker to get administrator rights and to manipulate the SMTP service configuration. This could cause the system to execute unintended commands when calling processes)
