Wenn ein System mit Ubuntu Linux nicht korrekt heruntergefahren wird, sondern etwa durch einen Stromausfall ohne USV Sicherung plötzlich ausfällt, kann es beim nächsten Startversuch zur Fehlermeldung No init found. Try passing init= bootarg. kommen. Der Rechner startet in diesem Fall nicht weiter. Mit einem Filesystemcheck können Sie dieses Problem meistens beheben.
Problem
Beim Starten des Rechners erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung (im Beispiel mit Ubuntu 10.10):

Lösung
Ein Filesystemcheck behebt häufig das Problem.
- Starten Sie von einer Linux-Live-Boot-CD oder vom TK USB Stick.
- Führen Sie einen Filesystemcheck der Bootpartition durch (in diesem Fall /dev/sda1):

Das System lässt sich meistens nun wieder starten.
