Windows Task-Manager not updating
Normally, the Windows Task Manager updates its display approximately once per second. If the Task Manager does not update its display anymore, it is possible that the Update speed is set to Paused.
In this short article, we will show you how to set the refresh rate back to Normal so that the Task Manager updates the display continuously as usual (the following screenshots show a German Windows, the mentioned English menu items are correct for an English Windows).

In this example, the Task Manager display is not updated.

By clicking on View ‣ Update speed you can see that the refresh speed is set to Paused.

By selecting the Normal update speed, the Task Manager works as usual again.
