Fix X9SCM-F BIOS update failure Error when sending Enable Message to ME

Updating the BIOS of Supermicro X9SCM-F Motherboards may fail with the errormessage Error when sending Enable Message to ME. The error may happen on motherboards which have been shipped by Supermicro with a BIOS version of 1.*. This issue can be fixed by applying a BIOS update, which contains a patch for this error. The patch must be applied only once, future BIOS updates do not need to contain this patch.

Problem

Updating the BIOS of a Supermicro X9SCM-F Motherboard ends with the following message:

- Error when sending Enable Message to ME !!

Solution

Install another BIOS update to BIOS version 2.0a and use the following BIOS image, which contains a patch to fix this error:
