ASUS P12R-I BIOS update
ASUS systems with ASMB10 Remote Management offer the possibility of performing a BIOS update via ASMB10 webinterface. The following example shows the process of such an update with an ASUS P12R-I mainboard.
Download of BIOS update
The download for the current BIOS version can be found in the download area of Thomas-Krenn at the corresponding mainboard or on the corresponding server platform. For example here:

Performance of BIOS update
The following screenshots show the steps of a BIOS update:

Select "BIOS Forced Update" in the "Maintenance" area.

Select BIOS file and click on "Start BIOS update"

If the system is running, a message will appear instructing you to shut down the system for the update.

Information on the shutdown of the systems.

The Bios update can be started.

The BIOS update is uploaded.

Information about the BIOS versions is displayed. The flash process is started by clicking on “Start flash.”.

The system must not be restarted during the flash process.
-
Flash process is ongoing.
-
The BIOS update was successfully performed.
-
The page for the BIOS update reappears afterwards.
