Odczyt numeru seryjnego serwera

Liczne serwery mają zapisany numer seryjny w hardwarze. Ten artykuł pokazuje jak w Linuksie może ten numer zostać odczytany.

Odczyt numeru seryjnego przez IPMI

Numer seryjny (Chassis Serial) serwerów firmy Intel (np. SR2500) może zostać odczytany poprzez ipmitool fru print:
