VMware vSphere 5

Po zainstalowaniu CIM Provider i restarcie hosta ESXi, klienta vSphere pokazuje informacje o statusie kontrolera RAID.

Aby możliwy był monitoring kontrolera RAID musi w hoście ESXi 5.* być zainstalowany CIM Provider.

Instalacja CIM Provider

Ograniczenie (stan 20.04.2012): W systemach bez BBU pokazuje sensor odpowiedzialny za baterię powiadomienie 'Battery Status: Unknown'. LSI pracuje nad rozwiązaniem.^[3]

VSphere Installation Bundle zawierający CIM Providers może zostać zintegrowany w indywidualnym obrazie (image) ESXi już przed instalacją hosta lub zainstalowany po instalacji hosta ESXi:
