Installation of serial IO GPIO host controller driver

If the Windows device manager displays an unknown device, the installation of the respective driver is necessary to use the device. In this example, we show the installation of the Intel(R) Serial IO GPIO host controller driver on a LES plus v4.

Analysis

Driver installation

It is recommended to search for the terms found on the internet (ACPI\INTC1055 in this example). This can be used to find driver download pages from the manufacturers. Make sure to only use the driver directly from the manufacturer to avoid malicious software.
