Here you will find different contact points for the verification of compatibility or certification of a device for a certain manufacturer.

Citrix XenServer

StorageLink compatibility

Emulex

You will find the link "Interoperability" on the left side.

Microsoft

Windows

Hyper-V

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not yet have a direct certification list for Hyper-V. However, you can find some information at the link provided under “Technical Resources.”

NexentaStor from Nexenta

Suse Linux

You will find information on certifications for all Novell products and also on the product lines of Suse, for example Suse Linux Enterprise Server.

Open-E

Oracle

Oracle VM

Oracle VM (2.2.1) is based on the RedHat/OEL kernel 5.3. This means that all hardware approved for use with the 2.6.18-128 kernel should also work with Oracle VM. Although Oracle does not certify hardware, there is so-called Oracle Validated (tested) hardware on which the software definitely runs:

The compatibility lists provided by Thomas-Krenn directly indicate the tested kernel version and can therefore serve as a reference.

RedHat

VMware

Xen

There is no direct list of qualified hardware for the "Open Source" Xen. Since each Linux distribution maintains its own Xen packages and updates, hardware support should be checked directly with the respective distribution.

Example of Debian: Debian Xen
