  • When updating this firmware the hook should remove the preserved configuration - (Unckecking this option will restore the factory default setting of BMC), only to ensure that that all updates are applied and the sensors are properly displayed. The removal of the hook sets the IPMI modules back to factory defaults and the IP address and all settings must be reconfigured by means ipmicfg or another way, see IPMI Configuration for Supermicro Systems

NOTE: A 3.xx firmware version may not be reflashed on an underlying (2.xx / 1.xx) version. This can cause damage to the IPMI modules.
