Autodesk Inventor is used in diverse areas of mechanical design – ranging from mechanical-, tool- and plant engineering to sheet metal work, automotive engineering and 3D printing. With its parametric-based approach, the CAD software can be used to develop movement simulations in assemblies or generate animations without the need for any additional software.
Various supplementary programs make Autodesk Inventor an attractive solution for highly specialized sectors and industries. Licenses are generally offered in bundles with other Autodesk software that expand the functionality of the base version.
Autodesk Inventor LT is a slimmed-down version of Inventor. In contrast to conventional versions, this version only has a limited feature set – specifically, users are only allowed to create individual parts and their 2D derivatives. The version can be purchased as a suite with AutoCAD LT or individually. Due to its limited features, it is notably cheaper than the full version.
Students, apprentices and educational facilities, however, can use the school version of Autodesk Inventor for free. This offers the same features as the commercial software, but is limited to a 36 month license. But whichever version of Autodesk Inventor you choose, a CAD workstation from Thomas-Krenn will ensure that you never need to worry about compatibility or performance issues.
The hardware offered here fulfills the system requirements for every variant of Autodesk Inventor. Whether you use the full version of the software, want to use add-ons or rely on the cheaper Autodesk Inventor LT, our specially designed products can handle it all: We guarantee that your design processes will run seamlessly on our hardware.
We provide optimized CAD workstations with high-performance graphics cards and powerful processors that are therefore optimally equipped for use with resource-intensive programs like Autodesk Inventor. Thanks to our in-house testing, you can be sure that your CAD software will run as intended.
