Microsoft CAL licenses
Be aware: User licenses apply to people, not devices. This means: If you purchase a user license, one user can use the Microsoft software on any number of devices – whether it is their PC at home or work devices. If your employees need to access your software from smartphones, tablets or other PCs, this license is the best solution.
On the other hand, if you purchase a device license, any number of users can operate a single device with the Microsoft software, which is useful if different people need to operate the same computer or tablet.
