Project with Thomas-Krenn

For the control center at Waterways and Shipping Office Minden (Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsamt), robotic care GmbH uses the Low Energy Server LESv2 as a video software decoder as part of a special project. The company’s self-developed software rcVideosoftdecoder is installed on it and decodes camera video streams that are sent over the video encoder/IP camera network. It then displays the video stream on a monitor. rcVideosoftdecoder is compatible with various manufacturers, so the existing infrastructure can be expanded with components from other suppliers without having to replace the existing hardware.

Christoph Grote, Managing Director of robotic care GmbH:

“After the very detailed and thorough consultations with the Thomas-Krenn team, we decided to use the LESv2 for this unique project and our end customer was very pleased with the results. Quiet and energy-efficient, it was exactly the right server for Waterways and Shipping Office Minden’s control center.”
