Was musste man wissen?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list arrow\">\n<li>Umdrehungen: 7.200, 10.000, 15.000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list arrow\">\n<li>Kapazit\u00e4t: 146GB \u2013 4000GB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list arrow\">\n<li>Kosten: \u20ac\/GB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span class=\"dropcap\">U<\/span>ngef\u00e4hr seit 2010 gibt es nun SSDs, die generell f\u00fcr den Einsatz in Servern und Client-Systemen geeignet und bezahlbar sind. Eine echte Stabilit\u00e4t kann den SSDs allgemein erst ab Ende 2012 bescheinigt werden. Daneben gab und gibt es noch immer sehr gro\u00dfe Unterschiede zwischen Herstellern und deren Modellreihen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Punkt ist: Eine SSD \u201eh\u00e4lt\u201c nur eine bestimmte, vordefinierte Zeit, bezogen auf die Schreibzyklen. Diese Zeit kann je nach Modell, verwendeter Technologie und der Schreiblast variieren. Ganz im Gegensatz zur Festplatte: Diese kann &#8211; unter Idealbedingungen &#8211; l\u00e4nger funktionieren als der Einsatzzeitraum des Systems.<\/p>\n<p>SSDs haben mit Festplatten nur noch gemein, dass sie \u00fcber einen SATA oder SAS Anschluss verf\u00fcgen und auf ihnen Daten abgelegt werden k\u00f6nnen. Durch die <a title=\"SSD - Aufbau\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/wiki\/SSD#SSD_Aufbau\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Verwendung von Speicherzellen<\/a> hat eine SSD grunds\u00e4tzlich eine sehr hohe Lese-Leistung in Bezug auf IO Operation pro Sekunde (da keine Rotation vorhanden ist und damit die Latenz ann\u00e4hernd Null ist). Dies f\u00fchrt dazu, dass auch der Durchsatz (MB\/s) sehr hoch ist, jedoch muss man festhalten, dass die Festplatte in Bezug auf sequentielle Lese- und Schreibvorg\u00e4nge noch immer das beste Medium ist.&nbsp; Daneben k\u00f6nnen Speicherzellen <a title=\"Schreibzugriffe SSD\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/wiki\/SSD#Schreibzugriffe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nicht unendlich oft<\/a> beschrieben werden. Dies f\u00fchrte dazu, dass zu Beginn der Entwicklung der Typ einer Speicherzelle (<a title=\"Thomas Krenn Wiki\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/wiki\/SSD#Strukturbreite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SLC, MLC, eMLC, TLC<\/a> ) von entscheidender Bedeutung war. <span class=\"pullquote-right\">\u201eEine neue Technologie ist kein Allheilmittel.\u201c<\/span> Dies liefert eine Aussage dar\u00fcber, wie oft man die Zellen beschreiben kann. Als Vergleichswert wurde der Begriff \u201eTeraBytes Written\u201c eingef\u00fchrt. Dieser beschreibt die Menge an GB\/TB\/PB, die im Laufe der Lebenszeit (meist \u00fcbereinstimmend mit der Garantiezeit) geschrieben werden k\u00f6nnen. Ein recht neuer Wert setzt sich langsam aber sicher durch, der auch die Garantiezeit mit einbezieht: Drive Write Per Day (DWPD). Dieser beschreibt wie oft eine SSD pro Tag (\u00fcber die komplette Kapazit\u00e4t) \u00fcberschrieben werden kann. Anhand des DWPD Wertes kann man zumindest die Lebenszeit der SSDs neutral vergleichen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"hr\"><\/div>\n<strong>Was muss man heute f\u00fcr die richtige Auswahl einer SSD wissen?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kapazit\u00e4t: 8GB \u2013 1800GB<\/li>\n<li>Arbeitslast:\n<ul>\n<li>Booten<\/li>\n<li>100% Lesen<\/li>\n<li>50% Lesen \/ 50% Schreiben<\/li>\n<li>100% Schreiben<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Wie wichtig ist die konstante Schreibperformance \u00fcber die Laufzeit?<\/li>\n<li>Kosten: <b>\u20ac\/IO &#8211;&gt; <\/b>Relativiert auf die DWPD und TBW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Was die Entscheidung zus\u00e4tzlich schwierig macht: F\u00fcr die Anforderung k\u00f6nnte eine SSD, die f\u00fcr den Einsatz im Notebook\/Desktop konzipiert worden ist, genauso geeignet sein. Man sollte sich deshalb bereits im Vorfeld Gedanken \u00fcber die notwendige Stabilit\u00e4t des Systems machen und entsprechend Beratung einholen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"hr\"><\/div>\n<strong>Hier noch ein Vergleich, wann eine HDD oder SSD sinnvoller sein kann:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list arrow\">\n<li>HDD im Vorteil: Video\u00fcberwachung &#8211;&gt; Gro\u00dfe sequentielle Schreib- und wenig Lesevorg\u00e4nge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"list arrow\">\n<li>SSD im Vorteil: Als Boot-Medium\/f\u00fcr Datenbanken (hier ist jedoch prim\u00e4r RAM als Speichermedium zu bevorzugen) und in rauen Umgebungen (Ersch\u00fctterungen, Hitze\/K\u00e4lte)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wie immer gilt \u201eeine neue Technologie ist kein Allheilmittel\u201c. Auch hier gilt: SSDs sind kein 1:1 Ersatz f\u00fcr HDDs! Denn im schlimmsten Fall ist die SSD nicht nur teurer und auch langsamer als eine Festplatte, sondern hat auch nach 3 Monaten schon ausgedient.
