{"id":3145,"date":"2013-07-29T17:06:11","date_gmt":"2013-07-29T15:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tk-mag.talkabout.de\/?p=3145"},"modified":"2023-02-21T16:20:39","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T15:20:39","slug":"tausch-einer-ausgefallenen-festplatte-bei-nexentastor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/expertentipps\/tausch-einer-ausgefallenen-festplatte-bei-nexentastor\/","title":{"rendered":"Tausch einer ausgefallenen Festplatte bei NexentaStor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eines der meistumworbenen Vorteile von <a title=\"Nexenta\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/produkte\/storage-systeme\/nexenta-storage.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NexentaStor<\/a> ist die hohe Daten- und Ausfallsicherheit.&nbsp;Features, wie Auto-snap, Auto-sync, Ditto Blocks, oder die schlichte Anordnung der Festplatten in RAID-Verb\u00e4nden sollen ein hohes Ma\u00df an Datenverf\u00fcgbarkeit garantieren.&nbsp;Leider ist jede Softwarel\u00f6sung nur so stark wie ihre zugrundeliegende Hardware.&nbsp;Besonders die Festplatten sind, aufgrund ihrer mechanischen Komponenten, einem gewissen Grad an Abnutzung unterzogen und sind daher in ihrer Lebensdauer beschr\u00e4nkt.&nbsp;Wie aber geht man bei einem NexentaStor System vor, wenn es tats\u00e4chlich zu einem Festplattenausfall kommt?<\/p>\n<h3>Tausch ohne vorhandener Hotspare Festplatte<\/h3>\n<p>Im Grunde unterscheidet sich der Tausch bei NexentaStor kaum von einem System mit&nbsp;Hardware RAID-Controller:&nbsp;Die ausgefallene HDD wird ausfindig gemacht, durch eine neue ersetzt und anschlie\u00dfend per Rebuild wieder in das hoffentlich noch bestehende RAID integriert.&nbsp;Da NexentaStor jedoch v\u00f6llig auf Hardware RAID-Controller verzichtet, welche den Rebuild in der Regel automatisch ansto\u00dfen, sondern ausschlie\u00dflich HBAs verwendet, sind hier noch Eingriffe auf Betriebssystemebene erforderlich, damit die defekte Festplatte ausgetauscht und die Ersatzfestplatte wieder in den Pool integriert werden kann.<\/p>\n&nbsp;<span id=\"attachment_3147\" style=\"width: 1427px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3147 \" title=\"Wie man in obiger Abbildung sehen kann, ist die Hotspare tempor\u00e4r f\u00fcr die ausgefallene HDD (c1\u20267Dd0) eingesprungen.\" alt=\"Wie man in obiger Abbildung sehen kann, ist die Hotspare tempor\u00e4r f\u00fcr die ausgefallene HDD (c1\u20267Dd0) eingesprungen.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/1.jpg\" width=\"1417\" height=\"163\"><\/a><br><span class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wie man in obiger Abbildung sehen kann, ist die Hotspare tempor\u00e4r f\u00fcr die ausgefallene HDD (c1\u20267Dd0) eingesprungen.<\/span><\/span>\n&nbsp;<span id=\"attachment_3148\" style=\"width: 1409px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3148 \" title=\"Um einen Festplattenausfall zu simulieren, wurde eine der HDDs offline geschaltet.\" alt=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/2.jpg\" width=\"1399\" height=\"237\"><\/a><br><span class=\"wp-caption-text\">Um einen Festplattenausfall zu simulieren, wurde eine der HDDs offline geschaltet.<\/span><\/span>\n<p>Zun\u00e4chst muss die ausgefallene HDD im Server ausfindig gemacht werden.&nbsp;In unserem Beispiel haben wir eine HDD auf Offline gesetzt, um einen Ausfall zu simulieren.&nbsp;Soweit die verbaute Backplane dies unterst\u00fctzt, bietet NexentaStor auf der Weboberfl\u00e4che unter&nbsp;\u201eSettings\u201c &gt; \u201eDisks\u201c die M\u00f6glichkeit, einzelne Festplatten anzublinken und ihre Position zu bestimmen.<\/p>\n&nbsp;<span id=\"attachment_3149\" style=\"width: 1411px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3149 \" title=\"Die neue Festplatte wurde von NexentaStor gefunden ...\" alt=\"3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/3.jpg\" width=\"1401\" height=\"438\"><\/a><br><span class=\"wp-caption-text\">Die neue Festplatte wurde von NexentaStor gefunden, aber nicht automatisch dem degradeten vdev zugeordnet.<\/span><\/span>\n<p>Nachdem die defekte Festplatte lokalisiert wurde, kann diese nun aus dem Slot gezogen und&nbsp;durch eine neue ersetzt werden.&nbsp;ACHTUNG: Anders als bei Hardware RAID-Controllern, beginnt NexentaStor hier nicht automatisch mit dem Resilver&nbsp; (so wird der Rebuildprozess unter NexentaStor bezeichnet).&nbsp;Die neue HDD wird zwar unter \u201eDisks\u201c erkannt, wird aber nicht automatisch dem degradeten vdev zugeordnet. Dies muss vom Anwender manuell durchgef\u00fchrt werden.&nbsp;Hierzu muss man unter \u201eData Management\u201c &gt; \u201eData Sets\u201c&nbsp; &gt; \u201e&lt;volume name&gt;\u201c die ausgefallene Festplatte ausw\u00e4hlen (Ja, die wird noch immer angezeigt) und diese mittels Klicken auf&nbsp;\u201eReplace the Device\u201c durch die neue HDD ersetzen.<\/p>\n&nbsp;<span id=\"attachment_3153\" style=\"width: 1411px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3153 \" title=\"Button \u201eReplace the Device\" alt=\"Mit dem Button \u201eReplace the Device\u201c k\u00f6nnen einzelne Festplatten ersetzt werden.\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/4.jpg\" width=\"1401\" height=\"242\"><\/a><br><span class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mit dem Button \u201eReplace the Device\u201c k\u00f6nnen einzelne Festplatten ersetzt werden.<\/span><\/span>\n<p>Die Festplatte wurde nun dem degradeten vdev zugeordnet und der Resilver setzt nun ein. Dieser Prozess kann abh\u00e4ngig von Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und Belegung der Festplatten und der Poolkonfiguration Minuten, mehrere Stunden, oder in Ausnahmef\u00e4llen sogar einige Tage in Anspruch nehmen. Es werden im Gegensatz zum herk\u00f6mmlichen Rebuild nur die belegten Bl\u00f6cke wiederhergestellt. Aufgrund der niedrigen Priorit\u00e4t des Resilvers kann auf dem System wie gewohnt weiter gearbeitet werden. Sobald der Resilver vollendet wurde, ist auch der Festplattentausch erfolgreich abgeschlossen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3154\" title=\"Hotspare \" alt=\"5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thomas-krenn.com\/de\/tkmag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/5.jpg\" width=\"1418\" height=\"234\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Tausch mit vorhandener Hotspare<\/h3>\n<p>Ein wenig anders verh\u00e4lt sich der Tausch, wenn in dem System zus\u00e4tzlich eine Hotspare Festplatte verbaut ist. Eine Hotspare ist eine im Server verbaute HDD, welche bei einem etwaigen Festplattenausfall einspringt und deren Platz im RAID einnimmt. Hier gibt es aber erneut Unterschiede zwischen herk\u00f6mmlichen Hardware-RAIDs und NexentaStor. W\u00e4hrend bei Hardware-Controllern die Hotspare nach dem Rebuild als vollwertige RAID-Unit anerkannt wird, wird bei NexentaStor diese als Hotspare \u201eINUSE\u201c gekennzeichnet. Diese wird zwar ebenfalls resilvered, springt aber anschlie\u00dfend wieder in den Bereitschaftsmodus, sobald die ausgefallene HDD durch eine neue ersetzt wurde.
