\nDas System ist stark erweiterbar, spart Energie und ist g\u00fcnstig. Das Preis-Leistungsverh\u00e4ltnis stimmt hier einfach. Er l\u00e4sst sich individuell konfigurieren und ist so wandlungsf\u00e4hig, dass man ihn als das Cham\u00e4leon unseres Server-Angebots bezeichnen k\u00f6nnte.

\nZahlreiche M\u00f6glichkeiten, zahlreiche Einsatzumgebungen<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ein paar Beispiele, wof\u00fcr man den RI2208 nutzen kann: Als Virtualisierungsserver mit VMware oder Hyper-V. Als System f\u00fcr die Cloud oder als HPC-Cluster, als All-in-One-Server oder als Mail-System. Es besteht die Option ihn als Datenbankserver zu nutzen, als Datev-Server \u2013 was sehr interessant f\u00fcr Kanzleien sein d\u00fcrfte \u2013 f\u00fcr Backups oder Univention.<\/p>\n

Ein Einsatz als Microsoft Essential Server oder f\u00fcr Linux Debian ist genauso denkbar, wie eine Nutzung als kleiner Storage-Server. Und das ist nur ein Bruchteil der vielen M\u00f6glichkeiten. Wie gesagt: Der RI2208 l\u00e4sst sich in jedem Unternehmen nutzen.

\nDie Konfiguration ist entscheidend<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nehmen wir mal an, Sie wollen den RI2208 als VMware-Host nutzen: Konfigurieren Sie ihn mit zwei Intel Xeon E5-2620v3 6-Core Prozessoren, nehmen Sie 128 GB DDR4 RAM dazu, eine 80 GB SATA SSD oder einen USB-Stick als Bootmedium und eine 10GBit Netzwerkkarte f\u00fcr die Anbindung an das Storage. Schon haben Sie den optimalen Server f\u00fcr einen Einsatz von VMware erstellt.<\/p>\n

Oder Sie wollen ihn als Microsoft SQL-Datenbankserver f\u00fcr Ihre Mitarbeiter nutzen. Wenn Sie den RI2208 richtig konfigurieren, k\u00f6nnen Sie das problemlos. Daf\u00fcr nehmen Sie dieses Mal zwei 8-Core Prozessoren und statt der 80 GB SATA SSD nehmen Sie f\u00fcr das Betriebssystem zwei mit 480 GB im RAID 1-Verbund. Au\u00dferdem konfigurieren Sie noch 4 100 GB SSDs im\u00a0RAID 10 f\u00fcr die Daten\u00a0und einen Avago-Controller dazu. Eine Dual-Port Netzwerkkarte und MS Windows Server 2012 R2 plus MS SQL Server 2014 mit den entsprechenden Lizenzen \u2013 und fertig ist der SQL-Datenbankserver.<\/p>\n

Mein Fazit: Der RI2208 l\u00e4sst sich stark anpassen und ist ein Server mit zahlreichen Skalierungsm\u00f6glichkeiten. Das Allround-System ist vielseitig, flexibel und noch dazu preiswert, was ihn zu meinem Favoriten in unserem Onlineshop macht.“<\/p>\n
