In this server max. 24 hard disks can be assembled. Hard disks which shall not be assembled resp. connected to the controller, can be ordered under "spare parts" at "individual accessory".

Max. 6 hard disks can be connected to the SATA onboard Controller.
When using seven or more hard disks, an additional SATA controller is required.
Due to performance and stability reasons, we always recommend an extra SATA controller.
Hint for 3ware controller
For an optimal performance, the Write-Cache has to be activated. Due to security reasons, we recommend the use of a BBU when the Write-Cache is activated.
