Stratus Avance is a new, very easy to use and cost effective solution for ensuring high availability in small- and medium-sized enterprises, departments or offices. Stratus Avance combines two standard servers into a system. The two servers protect each other against losses. Stratus Avance uses the concept of virtualization, so that you can run different virtual servers with your applications.

If an emergency occurs, the second server takes over without delay, data loss or operation impact. Your server's applications remain unchanged despite any errors or a possible server failure.

Right after installation in a few simple steps, Avance offers an outstanding high availability of more than 99.99%. This means an average outage of less than one hour per year.

High availability with Avance:

When having an Avance configuration,

the applications run on a server via virtual

machines (VMs). Data are replicated

automatically, absolutely synchronously

and in real time with the second server.
In case of emergency, the second server

takes over without delay, los of data or

stop. So, your applications remain

unchanged even if an error occurs or

one server breaks down.
