Install storcli under Ubuntu

StorCLI is a command line tool for the administration of MegaRAID Controllers and the successor of MegaCLI. An overview of common commands can be found in the article StorCLI.

The storcli package is also required to monitor a MegaRAID controller with Icinga:

The Thomas Krenn Ubuntu Repository contains the latest Ubuntu packages for storcli:

To receive updates on a regular basis, you can use the Thomas-Krenn Ubuntu Repository:

:~$ sudo apt-get install storcli

Afterwards storcli is available as command:

/usr/sbin/storcli
