Unlimited data volumes and high performance

NexentaStor is a software solution for unified block & file storage. It makes it possible to replace conventional proprietary SAN systems with standard hardware. This saves costs and reduces dependence on individual providers. Thanks to perfect integration in VMware and Hyper-V environments, NexentaStor is ideally equipped for use in virtualized and cloud environments.

The technical basis for NexentaStor is the distributed file system ZFS, which allows virtually unlimited data volumes with high performance and guaranteed data integrity. Unlike other ZFS-based offerings, Nexenta does not use Linux, but an operating system core based on OpenSolaris.
