The new feature "Advanced Management Pack" offers the possibility to back up CMM settings, storage settings, network settings etc. Beside the backup function, there is also the possibility on this feature to input the settings of an existing chassis. This saves your configuration effort and time. 

Furthermore, with the Advanded Management Pack is also supported LDAP for user authentication now. Event logs can be read out via syslog, immediately.

Activation by Intel Copier LUN Key

• License-Key for activating the Lun-Copier-Features for the Modular-Server
• Possibility of copying Virtual Drives

The feature "Lun Copier" allows it to copy LUNs (virtual drives) without special software on the Compute Module. This simplifies tasks such as, local backup of virtual drives or the copying of a LUNs with installed operating system. The copied LUN can be allocated to another Compute Module as a Boot-LUN. You have not to install the operating system new. You can oder your Lun-Copier Key on our website. With this Key and the Serial Number of your Modular-Midplane we generate a License-Key, which we sent to you via email. This License-Key you can activate simply by typing in the management interface. The Lun-Copier Feature is then immediately available.

The Intel Shared LUN Feature allows  the allocation of Virtual Drives on several Compute Modules.
You need no external SAN Storages for your Virtualization Solution und the HA Cluster.
Your Shared-Lun Key you can order on our Website. With the Key and the serial number of your Modular-Midplane you generate a License-Key, which we send you via Email. This License-Key you activate simply by typing in the Management Interface. The Shared LUN Feature is then directly available.

Intel Modular Active Silencer Enclosure

With the Active Silencer Enclosure you can reduce the sound level of the modular server about up to 10 dbA. Due to this enclosure it is possible to use the modular server also in the office and a rack is not necessary. A microphone at the back side enables the reduction of the sound level. This microphone catches and reduces the original signal via an Active Noise Reduction Controller and a loudspeaker, which transmitters the signal. The Silencer aspirates cool air with an air duct at the bottom side and directs it through the front door to the back side. This allows an ideal cooling of the modular server.
