Systemanalyse mit sos (sosreport) unter RHEL/CentOS

Das Tool sosreport des sos (son of sysreport) Projektes sammelt unter RHEL/CentOS Systeminformationen und legt diese in einer Archivdatei ab. Wie der Name bereits sagt ist SOS der Nachfolger des älteren sysreport.

Bei Anfragen an den Thomas Krenn Support ermöglichen diese Informationen eine rasche Analyse. Abhängig von der Supportanfrage fordert Ihr Support-Techniker daher diese Datei an.

Distributionen

Folgende Distributionen liefern SOS mit:

• RHEL/CentOS ab Version 4.6 ^[1]
• RHEL/CentOS ab Version 5.1 ^[2]

Bei SLES kann das mitgelieferte Tool siga für die Erhebung der Systeminformationen genutzt werden (siehe Systemanalyse mit siga unter SLES).

Beispiel

Ein Report kann einfach durch Aufrufen des sosreport Kommandos erstellt werden:
