Hinweis: Mehr und mehr Switch-Hersteller nutzen statt dem Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) nun das Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP). LLDP wird mit Stand Januar 2011 noch nicht von VMware unterstützt. Bei neueren HP Switchen sehen Sie daher in VMware keine CDP Informationen mehr.^[2]
