Areca bietet u.a. für Windows und Linux ein Command Line Interface Tool (CLI) an (Download CLI für Linux, Download CLI für Windows). Ab CLI Version 1.80A[1] gibt es die Funktion set savecfg
zum Abspeichern von Konfigurationsinformationen in die Datei Controller01.txt.
Bei Anfragen an den Thomas Krenn Support ermöglichen diese Informationen eine rasche Analyse. Abhängig von der Supportanfrage fordert Ihr Support-Techniker daher diese Datei an.
Beispiel
Das Beispiel zeigt die Ausführung des Kommandos unter Linux (im Beispiel wird die CLI Version V1.82_81103 verwendet):

Abruf mit älteren Areca Clients
Um die gleichen Informationen mit Areca Clients vor 1.80A zu erhalten müssen folgende Kommandos ausgeführt werden.
Falls der Client nicht im Bash Pfad ($PATH) liegt, kopieren Sie den Client bitte vorher nach /root/bin/.

Mittels sys showcfg
können weitere Parameter abgefragt werden. Dies erfordert zuerst die Eingabe des Controller-Passworts (das Default-Passwort ist 0000):
