    • Fixed an issue with the scrollbar not responding as intended within Adaptec Storage Manager.
    • Added maxCache status to ARCCONF.
    • Resolved a cosmetic issue where the default logical name was incorrect when 10 or more arrays were created at a single time.
    • Added maxCache status indicator, similar to a RAID creation, when a drive is being added to the maxCache pool.

Build 18937 (06 Feb 2012)

  • Release Notes Build 18937, Auszug aus Enhancements and Bug Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue that would cause a bus hang condition after running a rescan using the arcconf utility.

    • Fixed an issue where drives could drop during a build/verify operation after a warm reboot.
    • Fixed an issue where the drive capacity displayed in the CTRL-A utility was incorrect.

Build 18252 (20 Dec 2010)

  • Release Notes Build 18252, Auszug aus Enhancements and Bug Fixes:
    • Fixed an issue in configurations with maxCache (formerly MaxIQ) enabled, where SSD cache fetches could overlap with host write IOs when array write cache is disabled. Please note that the SSD cache will be reset after this firmware upgrade, which could result in a temporary performance impact as the SSD cache rebuilds.

Build 17911 (25 Aug 2010)

  • Release Notes Build 17911, Auszug aus Enhancements and Bug Fixes:
    • Added support for greater then 2TB drive capacity.
    • Improved the DMA engine for configurations where the host system has greater then 4GB of memory.
    • Fixed an issue where a drive segment would report as Failed when the overall RAID status was Optimal.
    • Fixed a compatibility issue that would prevent Adaptec controllers from posting in Dell Tx10 servers.
    • Fixed a compatibility issue that would prevent Adaptec controllers from posting in HP ML110 servers.
    • Fixed an issue where drives would not be detected when installed on an HP backplane.
    • Fixed an issue where an array originally created using older controller firmware would not rebuild on a controller with newer firmware.

    • Added a command line option to the ARCConf utility to save support files, similar to functionality already in Adaptec Storage Manager.
    • Fixed an issue where updating the ESX 4.0 driver would result in the system booting into recovery shell. You should now be able to update the driver when the Adaptec card is being used as the boot controller.
    • Fixed an issue where Western Digital WD2002FYPS drives would drop under heavy I/O on Adaptec High-Port controllers.
