- Added a new option in the “PHY Configuration” menu to change the Phy speed (3.0Gbps/1.5Gbps). Due to onboard expanders, this new option is not available on certain Series 5 controllers (51245, 51645, and 52245).
- Fixed an issue where arrays may become unreadable after performing a firmware upgrade. Please refer to ASK knowledgebase article# 16914 for further detail.
- Fixed an issue where the controller alarm would continue to sound, even after all drive members of the degraded array had been initialized.
- Fixed an issue where a simple volume creation would fail if a secure erase was performed on the drive(s).
- Fixed an issue that would prevent a hotspare from being pulled in and a rebuild from starting if an array became degraded as a result of an array drive member being initialized.
- Enhancement to drive medium error handling. Drives exhibiting excessive medium errors will be marked offline.
- Enhancement to array morphing and expansion should require less time to complete. This enhancement does not apply to array building or rebuilding.
- Enhancement to the controller BIOS (CTRL-A), now displays the firmware build number at the top of the main menu screen.
